Commercial Lease Law Insider Wins Newsletter Award

On June 6, Commercial Lease Law Insider was recognized in the Best Business Newsletter category of awards presented by the Specialized Information Publisher’s Association (SIPA) at its annual conference in Washington, D.C. The judges based their decisions on 2017 issues in which editor Elizabeth Purcell explained:

• How to draft lease provisions that allow a restaurant tenant to use a common outdoor area as dining space (July, available here);
• How to protect the landlord’s interests in the event a franchise tenant terminates its agreement with the franchisor (August, available here); and
